Women love a bad-boy. They’re sexy. They’re dangerous. They are the man that appeals to a woman’s wild side. Every girl has the dream of catching the bad boy and taming him. It’s a great fantasy but for most women, that is all they want it to be. It is really fun to imagine, but a real woman wants a real man, and a real man is a nice guy.
There are thousands of reasons as to why a woman not only wants, but loves a nice guy. Nice guys often equal long term, and even if they don’t, they equal an enjoyable and fulfilling stability. A nice guy isn’t selfish, but he isn’t so “on his own” that he doesn’t take from the relationship. Women like a man who will receive comfort or encouragement when they need it. A woman doesn’t just need a cold rock of a man to sit like a statue until some great danger comes along where they jump into protective action. Relationships are about giving and taking, not just giving.
Many women want a man who is going to be a good husband and father. Even if the woman has no intention of marrying, if the man is good husband and father material then he is going to be good to her no matter the situation. He’s not going to put on a cold front when out in public or with friends. Women are social creatures and, more often than not, open books. They don’t want their boyfriend to hide them away when in the public eye. They want the man to be proud of her. But a nice guy does not take it too far, gloating over the curvy catch he found. A nice guy cares more about the heart, soul and mind of a woman and the body is simply an attached benefit. The nice guy doubles as a woman’s best friend. In fact, if not in a relationship, there’d be a good chance that the nice guy would be the woman’s best friend.
A nice guy is like a fine wine; their only good in mature situations. A mature woman wants a stable, sweet, man, willing to partake in the goodness of life with her, instead of casting off all healthy progression because it’s not the cool thing to do. A nice guy isn’t boring or lacking in fun. In fact, they can be the best fun because they know how to have a good, inclusive time. A bad boy is great for a fling in dream world, but a nice guy is real treasure that will last a lifetime.
